AI-led PR — what it is, and why we don't do creative campaigns

K&C is AI-led PR + media relations + content + copywriting. Strategy, measurement, and PR delivery in one team. Tactically focused on AI search positioning — which delivers top-tier media coverage as a result.

Status: Opening draft — published 29 April 2026 as part of v83 build. Full longform copy will be expanded over the coming days. This page exists now so the URL is claimed and the LLM crawler can find it.

If you're after media coverage, content, great copywriting — all strategically driven by AI — come to us.

If you're after a six-figure creative campaign with three months of brainstorming workshops and a chief creative officer's name on the deck, we're not the right fit. Honestly — just go to a creative agency. They're better at it. They charge accordingly.

If you're after a self-serve dashboard you can plug into your marketing stack and read for yourself, we're not the right fit either. The platforms (Authoritas, Profound, Peec AI, Otterly.AI) are exactly that. We use one of them as our measurement layer. Buy direct.

K&C sits in the lane between those two: strategy + measurement + AI-led PR delivery, tactically focused on AI visibility outcomes.

Article structure (in progress)

  1. The three lanes. Why the UK GEO market is splitting into platforms (dashboard-only), creative PR agencies (GEO-as-add-on), and specialists like K&C (strategy + measurement + delivery in one team). Where each lane wins. Where each lane fits.
  2. What “AI-led” means in practice. The strategy isn't invented from scratch. Every engagement starts with the AVS audit — we know exactly which queries you're losing, which competitors are owning the citation, which sources AI is pulling from. The PR plan is the answer to the audit, not a brainstorm.
  3. Why not creative campaigns. Big creative campaigns optimise for reach and brand affect. They're brilliant at what they do. But they're the wrong tool for citation outcomes, and they're priced for a different category of buyer. AI-led PR is tactical, focused, and priced per engagement — not retainer-and-overheads.
  4. Why not dashboards alone. A dashboard tells you the score. It doesn't write the press pitch, ship the schema markup, brief the journalist, draft the long-form piece, or run the placement strategy. Measurement is the start. Without delivery, the score doesn't move.
  5. What we deliver. Media relations to publications LLMs actually pull from. Long-form copywriting (the canonical content LLMs cite when no third-party source dominates). Schema, structured data, and content scaffolding. Done by a small specialist team with deep PR craft, not generalist account managers learning GEO on the job.
  6. Top-tier media coverage as a by-product. Targeting the citation sources LLMs read — trade press, broadsheet comparison pieces, podcast appearances — means the same work that moves your AI score also lands you in the publications buyers read. The media coverage is real. It's just not the optimisation target.
  7. How to know if K&C is right for you. A short decision tree. Six questions. Honest answers about who we work well with and who would be better served elsewhere.
